So I am away for the next couple of days so I am going to complete my July favourites today! It was really hard to choose which ones I wanted as my July Favourites but after some deliberation I managed to whittle it down to just seven!
First up is the Yesto cucumber facial wipes. Recently I have turned to using oil for taking my make up off but these wipes are so gentle on my skin they work fabulously as a quick pick me up and also are really soft. They are made of 100% compostable cloth which I love because I feel like they treat my skin better- they may not but hey ho, whatever makes you feel good!
Second is this AMAZING oil. I can not stress how much I love this product. It is perfect for taking off my make up at the end of the day with either a cotton or muslin cloth. It leaves your skin soft and has a really nice smell. At the moment it is only £5 in Boots and is a much cheaper alternative to Clinique’s Take the Day Off cleansing oil so I beg you to try this out before you make that steep purchase!
This little beauty has had some real mixed reviews. I know a lot of blogs that swear by it but I also know a lot of blogs that can’t stand the stuff. I will say it is quite a dry concealer but if you use it lightly around the eyes and set it with some powder it will last all day long! It isn’t weightless, it is quite heavy, but for me that isn’t a bad thing. I like a lot of coverage and this gem has done just that for me! On a bit of the pricey side for £17.50 but if it sounds like your kind of concealer then go for it.
I can not tell you how much I love this brush. It is the contour brush from the face collection of Real Techniques and it is amazing. It has such a soft feel and can blend any bronzer to the perfect shade. I am so pale and find the Hoola from Benefit is really pigmented so when I found this brush and realised its’ magical powers I was so so happy. It also has the perfect shade for contouring check bones. It is a definite recommendation from me!
This one is a recent purchase from The Body Shop. I wanted a nice face mist for when I am on the plane and I found this one. I thought the Vitamin C would be perfect for giving me a little lift! HOWEVER, I also discovered this beauty can set make up. It does a perfect job of fixing my make up all day but also giving me that refreshing feel I originally got it for. Perfect summer companion.
For my lipstick obsession currently, this Sleek Matte Me ultra smooth matte lip cream is doing the world of good. It goes on so smoothly but also has gorgeous pigment. I find it doesn’t last as long as some other liquid lipsticks but isn’t drying at all! It is such a cheap price point as well for only £5 so I think it is a cheap but cheerful range. (The picture makes it look quite light but I it is the shade ‘Birthday Suit’ which is quite a dark taupe, the lighting on my camera went slightly off!)
Finally, I have my right hand guy the Nivea Fruity Shine lip balm in Peach. This little guy is cheap and cheerful and makes my lips smell, taste and look lovely! I would recommend these for when your lips just need a bit of TLC!
That is all of my June favourites hope you guys enjoyed reading! I shall be posting the Liebster award later on this week (it is scheduled to post whilst I am away!)
